Libby's Legacy Project

This is a developing educational program that will honor the legacy of Libby Steadham, a lifelong believer and teacher that eating healthy foods is essential for good nutrition and wellness. Libby was a long-time supporter and vendor of the OBFM. In 2021 Libby authored "Seasonal Cooking from the Garden", a cookbook featuring recipes and anecdotes of growing and preparing fresh produce. One of Libby's last requests was for the OBFM to continue selling her cookbook and donate the proceeds to a local organization that promotes healthy eating and nutrition. In addition to selling the cookbook it is envisioned to host cooking and "healthy eating" demonstrations several times a year at the market. We are in the process of seeking ways to reprint her cookbook at a reasonable cost and begin sales at the 2025 market.
